Clos Du Val owns 180 acres on some of the finest hillside land in the cool climate region of Carneros, known for producing exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The cooling breeze off San Pablo Bay, just three miles to the southwest, allows for a long, even growing season that encourages the grapes to reach their full maturity, while the rocky, clay loam reduces the yield per vine, producing highly concentrated Chardonnay fruit of intense varietal character.
