Clos Du Val boasts one of the most friendly, down-to-earth winery experiences in Napa Valley brought to you in an incomparably beautiful setting. We offer everything from a casual tasting at our tasting bar, to formal tours and tastings with our winemaker, to large group wine tasting and blending seminars. Our beautifully manicured grounds provide the perfect setting for romantic interludes or picnics with family and friends. The tasting room is open to the public daily from 10am - 5pm.
Winery Experiences Available:
Current Release Tasting: Fall in love with Clos Du Val's elegant and balanced style with a select tasting of white and red wines from our Napa Valley and Carneros vineyards while hearing all about our 40 year winemaking heritage. The Current Release Tasting is $15 per person and includes four current release wines.
Reserve Reds Tasting: More exclusive and intimate than our standard tasting, our Reserve Reds Tasting will feature our highly limited reserves wines from our Napa Valley and Carneros vineyards including Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserve Pinot Noir and select Library Wines. The Reserve Tasting is $25 per person and includes four Reserve wines.
Tours: Public tours and tastings are available to the public daily by appointment at 10:30 and 2:30. $30 per person includes a mixed tasting from our Classic and Reserve portfolios. Please call Clos Du Val Hospitality at 707.261.5251 or email visit@closduval.com.
Large Groups and Private Tours: Clos Du Val has many offerings for parties of 8 or more, including “create your own flight” tastings, vineyard and winery tours, and one-on-one tastings in the cellar with a knowledgeable member of the hospitality staff. Private tours and tastings are available for groups of any size. Just tell us what you have in mind and we will create the experience. Romance Package: There a few places on earth more romantic than wine country. Clos Du Val makes romance easy with an intimate wine tasting for 2 in our private olive grove paired with chocolate and roses. Perfect for engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries or a just a great date with that special someone. $50 per person by appointment only.
Other Great Things to do at Clos Du Val:
Ask one of our tasting room staff for a tour of our demonstration vineyard, which is open to the public. See different trellising techniques, find out how to identify Merlot grapes and learn about sustainable farming.
The French version of bocce ball—our pétanque courts are open to anyone who’s game! Ask your hospitality associate for a set of boules.
Bring lunch and enjoy a picnic in our Olive Grove. Tables are limited, so reservations are recommended on weekends and for groups of 8 or more. Please note: Picnic tables are for Clos Du Val customers only. Guests may only consume Clos Du Val wine on the premises; no other alcoholic beverages are permitted.
