Stags Leap Selections

Remember when our winemaking team began blending sessions for our 2021 wines? Since then, winemaker Carmel Greenberg and assistant winemaker J.P. Pierce have tasted through various potential blends made from barrel samples. They started with our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet, which has since been sent to the cellar to craft the final blend.

Now it’s time to determine the blends for our Stags Leap District estate wines – the 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Yettalil. This week, Carmel and J.P. sat down to taste, evaluate, and adjust the different blends from our prized Hirondelle Vineyard.

The 2021 wines are already showing incredible promise, and we can’t wait to share them with you all!
