A fresh take on Clos du Val’s world-class style, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon continues the winery’s tradition of producing truly distinctive wines of balance and elegance while adding a hint of modernity. Its opulent, brooding purple hue is accentuated with aromas of ripe black and red fruit, black pepper and subtle hints of toast. The palate displays a seamless integration of rich flavors which include chocolate, toffee and ripe blackberry. The wine has a rich, full mouthfeel marked by focused, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish.

This wine opens with elegant aromas of chocolate, blackberry and fresh black pepper. Vibrant flavors of toffee, vanilla, blueberry and currant are followed by well-integrated tannins and a long, smooth finish.

While the 2011 vintage was cooler than in recent years, our vineyard site with great exposure and drying winds provided us with conditions to achieve great ripeness. The aromas are reminiscent of forest fruits, cedar and pencil shavings. The palate opens to flavors of bramble, berries, mocha, warm vanilla and wet earth. The tannins are characteristic of Stags Leap District, being present and well-structured while wrapped in a silky and vibrant elegance.

This wine opens to sensuous aromas of blackberry, mocha, cigar box and baking spice that waft out of the glass. Luscious flavors of black forest fruits, dark roasted coffee, toffee and gently toasted vanilla spice. The mouthfeel is seemless with a silkiness that is supported by well-integrated tannins.

90-92 Points – Vinous

Overall this is an attractive, mid-weight Cabernet built on a classic sense of structure. It should drink well for the next decade or more."

With a deep purple color, strong aromas of spice and mocha intertwine with dark ripe fruit on the nose. Immediately, the wine showcases rich blackberry on the palate. On the palate, notes of blackberry and spice are followed by a soft texture and full-bodied mouthfeel.

This stunning vintage showcases a rich and complex palate of blackberry, mocha, cedar, and vanilla. A creamy, round mouthfeel is complemented by well-structured tannins and a long, smooth finish.

We recommend using an Ah-So Wine Opener for library wines as the cork can become delicate over time.

Enticing aromas of clove, blueberry pie and just a hint of menthol lead way to complex red fruit flavors with bright acidity. The wine showcases toasted oak and fine tannins with a long, lingering finish.

Our 2014 Three Graces is composed of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. Both were grown in the finest blocks of the vintage in our Hirondelle Vineyard.
